Even when driving an everyday road vehicle, you can often face the challenge of needing to cross speed bumps or steep driveways. This helps prevent scratches and damage to your front lip or side skirts. With the KW Hydraulic Lift System (HLS), you can overcome those obstacles without any damage. The HLS system lifts the vehicle by up to 45 millimeters at speeds of up to 80 km/h with the press of a button. The KW HLS system is available as a complete suspension kit (In conjunction with the Porsche KW V4 linked below) or as a retrofit solution for the original suspension of the car (depending on the vehicle type and application). The latest revision is called HLS Evolution. The new KW HLS Evolution is currently available for lifting the front axle. With the redesign, the new HLS now comes with a smaller pump unit. This allows the HLS 2 Evolution to be installed in the engine compartment without needing major modifications. It is no longer necessary to run cables into the boot as it was the case with the HLS 2. Additionally, they have saved 3-4 kilograms with the HLS 2 Evolution. Another advantage is that the new HLS system can usually be attached to existing mounting points with a slightly modified original bracket. The KW solenoid valve has been revised to be less susceptible to contamination. In combination with the KW coilovers, the Hydraulic Lift System from KW Suspensions allows a subtle lowering within the tested adjustment range. Thanks to high-quality and durable materials, individual lowering can be varied at any time. Dust protection elements and bump stops are already included, allowing maximum technical and legal lowering. Height adjustable front and rear axles (front axle threaded strut housings, rear axle adjustable springs dampers) Dampers are adjusted by easily operating adjustment wheels. Rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the vehicle construction. Electronic damping control has to be deactivated.
