Fiber Glass Cowl for the Brian Taylor Cessna 120 (62″) This design by British scale champion Brian Taylor has been specifically designed for the beginner as your first scale model. Constructed from all wood from the detailed plan sheets and articles, the ‘120, as well as being stable & easy to fly, is also fully aerobatic. A laser-cut wood pack is available, which contains most of the shaped parts needed, such as fuselage formers and wing ribs, the Additional Wood Pack is also available which contains MOST of the sheet and strip wood and ply to complete the model (hardware not included). A moulded plastic (PETG) windscreen and a fiberglass engine cowling are also available. It is designed to be powered by a .30-size IC engine but experienced modellers should be able to convert it to electric power (details not supplied). The Full Size: The Cessna 120, along with its stablemate the 140/140A, was a very successful, two-seat light aircraft that first flew in 1946 and from there over 7000 were built. It was a rugged, safe, reliable and easy-to-fly aircraft, and it cemented Cessna’s status as one of the leading manufacturers of this type of aircraft.
